Cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf has established a busy career in New York City as a solo, chamber, Broadway and recording artist. 


‘The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that (following her sold-out Birdland debut), cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf will return to the stage with “More About the Melody: Celtic Night – Songs of Ireland and Scotland,” on Monday, February 4 at 7pm.

With a traditional celtic band and cohosted by Steve Gibb (guitar) and Ben Power (Irish flutes and pipes), the concert will feature Broadway’s Scottish and Irish-born singers giving their interpretations of songs inspired by the ancient melodies. Vocalists Kerstin Kilcoyne Andersen, Margaret Kelly, Tony LePage, Maxine Linehan, Glenn Macnamara, Euan Morton and Cairán Sheehan will guest.’
